Meet our Sales and Design Manager Alex!
Alex has had an interest in solar since he was 12 years old. His interest sparked when his uncle invented a solar desalination panel, and he has been passionate about renewable energy ever since. Alex has worked in the renewable energy sector for over 7 years and over that time he has learned a lot of valuable skills and knowledge. One of the big things that Alex learnt was that it has to start locally, and that’s why Alex loves working for I Want Energy, because he’s been given the opportunity to work for a locally owned and operated company that gives him the opportunity to make a real impact within the business and Tasmania's future in renewable energy. Alex has a 10 month old son and is passionate about reducing and reversing the damage from climate change and is passionate about his job because it gives him the opportunity to make a difference for how the future will play out for his son, and at the same time, Alex loves helping people save money whilst getting them excited about making a difference as well!
