Brighton Regional Sports Complex
📍 Pontville, Tasmania
65 kW Solar | 48.36 kWh Battery Storage | Heat Pump Hot Water
The complex now hosts one of Tasmania’s most complete commercial renewable energy installations. A 65kW rooftop solar array, made up of 104 premium Trina Solar panels estimated to generate 90,000kWh of clean electricity every year. Paired with a 48kWh Sigenergy battery system, the complex can store surplus solar energy and continue operating key circuits even during a grid outage, giving the council genuine energy security alongside their savings.

Off-Grid Power for a Life Off the Beaten Track
📍 Roaring Beach, Tasmania
7.98 kW Solar | 34.2 kWh Battery Storage | Off-Grid Expansion
The result, an upgrade that centres on a 7.98kW Solar array paired with 34.2kWh of battery storage, all engineered to produce close to 9,600kWh of clean power a year at 87% system efficiency. A second inverter charger was installed in parallel with the existing unit and a 5kW inverter alongside that.
This would allow the expanded system to carry the extra load of a three-bedroom home with a full kitchen, wood-fired sauna and more - without sacrificing the redundancy of running two inverter chargers side by side. |

From Battery Ready to Battery within a Month
📍 Warrane, Hobart
8.93 kW Solar | 16.12 kWh Battery Storage
The system that went in was future proofed from the start: 8.93kW of Solar paired with a Sigenergy Hybrid inverter, plus a 24-hour hot water timer to shift the electric storage hot water system onto solar and off-peak power.
The hybrid inverter option meant that when they ultimately decided to add batteries a month later, it turned his solar system into an all-in-one system almost immediately. |
