TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

The promoter is I Want Energy , located at 62 Hopkins Street, Moonah TAS 7009 (“the Promoter”).

1. Promotion period

The promotion opens at 9:00 am AEST on Friday, 28 August 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm AEST on Sunday, 6 September 2026.

Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

1. Eligibility

Entry is open to Tasmanian residents

Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.

No purchase is necessary to participate.

1. How to enter

To submit a valid entry, entrants must comment on the official Powered by Dad giveaway post on the I Want Energy Facebook or Instagram page and:

• Nominate a dad, grandfather, stepdad or father figure; and
• Share one line describing a favourite moment with them or why they deserve to be celebrated.

Entrants may submit one entry on Facebook and one entry on Instagram, for a maximum of two entries per person.

Following I Want Energy, tagging another person, sharing the post or posting it to a Story is optional and will not provide an additional entry.

An entrant may voluntarily send or share a photograph, but a photograph is not required for entry.

1. Entry conditions

Entries must be the entrant’s original work and must not contain offensive, unlawful, misleading or inappropriate material.

Where an entry includes a photograph or identifies another person, the entrant confirms they have that person’s permission. If a child appears in a photograph, permission must be obtained from the child’s parent or legal guardian.

Incomplete, duplicate, automated, fraudulent or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.

1. Prizes

There are three Father’s Day gift hampers to be won. Each winner will receive one hamper.

Each hamper has an approximate retail value of $200, making the total approximate prize pool $600. Confirm these values before publishing.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may provide a substitute prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.

1. Winner selection

The three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received across Facebook and Instagram.

The draw will take place at approximately 10:00 am AEST on Monday, 7 September 2026 at I Want Energy, 62 Hopkins Street, Moonah TAS 7009.

Each person may win only one prize.

1. Winner announcement and notification

The winners will be announced on the official I Want Energy Facebook and Instagram pages on 7 September 2026.

Winners will also be contacted by direct message from an official I Want Energy account.

I Want Energy will never request payment or banking details from a winner to claim a prize.

1. Claiming the prize

Winners must respond within seven days of being contacted and provide any information reasonably required to confirm their eligibility.

If a winner does not respond within seven days, cannot provide proof of eligibility or declines the prize, the Promoter may select another winner from the remaining valid entries.

Prize collection or delivery within Tasmania will be arranged directly with each winner.

1. Use of submitted content

By submitting an entry, the entrant grants the Promoter permission to repost or share their submitted words or photograph in connection with this campaign, including winner announcements and campaign-related social media content.

The Promoter will provide credit where reasonably practical.

Personal information will only be used to administer the promotion, contact winners and arrange prize fulfilment unless the entrant separately consents to another use.

1. General conditions

The Promoter may verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, uses multiple or false accounts, submits misleading information or breaches these terms.

If the promotion cannot operate as intended because of technical failure, fraud or circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may suspend, modify or cancel the promotion, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian consumer law.

1. Meta disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

By entering, participants release Facebook, Instagram and Meta from liability arising in connection with this promotion to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Entrants are providing their information to I Want Energy and not to Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

1. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia.
