The rebate has changed, but it is still available
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program helps eligible households, businesses and community organisations
reduce the upfront cost of installing an eligible battery system.
The discount applies to eligible batteries connected to new or existing solar PV systems.
It is based on the battery’s usable capacity and the number of small-scale technology certificates the battery is eligible for.
Because the discount reduces over time, waiting may mean a lower discount later.
